| Design
and Workmanship
The boilers are of the wet back
design. This, coupled with the supporting of the boilers being established
by use of drilled stay bolts, allows the boilers optimal flexibility.
The boilers are constructed with
pressed
end plates, and boilers with duties of 4 ton/h or more are provided
with fully corrugated furnace.
The boilers are manufactured of top
quality boiler materials and in compliance with the TRD and DOSH regulations.
The boilers comply with the requirements
stipulated by relevant design authorities as concerns unattended operation
when using approved control and safety equipment.
Insulation
and Cladding
Heat losses are minimized by the
application of a 150 mm insulation (mineral wool) on the cylindrical
surface of the boiler and front and rear ends alike.
The heavy front door insulated in
3x25 mm Rock-wool combines with the extra cover door (standard supply)
to reduce to a minimum the radiation loss from the front reversing
chamber.
Boiler cradles and all suppports
for cover plates and platform are insulated so as to omit any direct contact
with the boiler pressure part. Furthermore, man holes and access doors
are provided with insulated covers.
The cladding of the entire boiler
surface is finished in blue plastic-coated steel plates with aluminium
cover trim.
The insulated platform at the top
of the boiler protects the cladding and permits ease of installation and
general service and maintenance.
Steam Boilers
type TDC and TDB
The generous steam space ensures
a steady and controlled steam generation. In fact the steam produced has
a guaranteed dryness better than 99%. |
